Sevendays processes personal data through this website (sevendays.be) and through the services we deliver. Sevendays is located at Regine Beerplein 1 E206, 2018 Antwerp (Belgium), registered under company number BE 0650.950.469.

We comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy law. This policy is updated regularly. Any changes are communicated via this page.

2. What data we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Technical identification: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited, timestamps
  • Contact information: name, email, phone number, company name, job title
  • Communication content: messages you send us via forms, email or meetings
  • Application data: CV, cover letter, availability (only when applying for a role)
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see our cookie policy

3. Why we process it

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to contact requests and quote requests (contract performance or your consent)
  • Scheduling and preparing meetings (contract performance)
  • Sending project updates, invoices, and administrative communication (contract performance)
  • Improving our website and statistical analysis (your consent, via cookies)
  • Sending newsletters or relevant updates (your consent, or legitimate interest for existing clients)
  • Handling job applications and building a talent pool (your consent)
  • Meeting legal obligations (accounting, tax)

4. Do we share your data

We never sell your data. We only share it with external processors who need it to deliver our service, such as:

  • HubSpot (CRM, contact management, meetings)
  • Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, for site statistics)
  • Microsoft / Google Workspace (email and calendar)
  • Our accountant (invoice processing)
  • Netlify / cloud hosting providers (hosting this website)

We have a data processing agreement with each of these processors. Anonymized or aggregated data may be used to improve our services or for internal reporting.

5. Where we process your data

We prefer processing inside the European Economic Area (EEA). When a processor operates outside the EEA (e.g. some US-based cloud services), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How we secure your data

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest where possible
  • Access on a need-to-know basis for our staff
  • Strong passwords and two-factor authentication on internal systems
  • Regular backups and monitoring

Nobody can guarantee complete security. Should there ever be a data breach with risk to your rights and freedoms, we will report it within 72 hours to the Belgian Data Protection Authority and, where required, to you.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Customer records: for the duration of our cooperation, plus 7 years (statutory retention for tax records)
  • Contact requests: up to 2 years after the last contact
  • Job applications: up to 28 days after the procedure ends, extendable to 1 year with your consent
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
  • Site statistics: as per Google Analytics retention (max. 14 months) and GTM

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  1. Right of access: request a copy of all data we process about you
  2. Right to rectification: have inaccurate data corrected, free of charge
  3. Right to erasure: request deletion, subject to legal retention obligations
  4. Right to restriction: restrict processing in certain situations
  5. Right to object: object to processing; free of charge for direct marketing
  6. Right to portability: receive your data in a structured, common format
  7. Right to withdraw consent: when processing is based on consent

To file a request, email info@sevendays.be with a copy of your ID (you may mask non-relevant details). We respond within 30 days.
